Truelight Truelight Plugins
Truelight plugins allow you to accurately preview film images on your computer display from within compositing packages. Plugins are available for Apple Shake™, Adobe After Effects™, NUKE™ from The Foundry and Eyeon Digital Fusion®.
Working with Truelight Plugins
Apple Shake and NUKE automatically include a generic Truelight plugin, enabling general calibration of the monitor using a by-eye tool. Print calibration is provided via a selection of typical output profiles.
For increased functionality, the full Truelight plugin can be added to Apple Shake, Adobe After Effects, NUKE and Digital Fusion (using After Effects plugin host emulation).
For a more exacting calibrated environment, the full Truelight plugin includes control software for the Truelight Projector and Monitor Probes to allow you to characterise any display, combine the data with the output LUT, and create a custom 3D LUT that can then be applied to the preview render.
Truelight plugins can use the same colour profiles as other Truelight-aware systems and allow you to calibrate compositing workstations across platforms, operating systems and physical locations.
