My name is Ms Senem Pehlivan Yagan. I am a colour grading artist and department supervisor with 10 years of experience in the film and post production industry. Since 2005, I have worked at the top two post production houses in Istanbul giving services to production houses, creative agencies, local and international directors and directors of photography (DOPs).

As most of the successful seniors do at the beginning of their career, I started my learning process in the transfer room mastering time-codes, transfer connections and different types of deliveries. Getting into the core of film negative, film scanning and transfer, I learned all aspects of film, art of telecine and colour grading. In the period of 2006-2011, I worked my way up to senior colourist at 1000 Volt, before heading up the grading department at IMAJ in my role as lead colourist and the head of department in 2011 to rebuild a brand new colour grading department. I managed to setup four colour grading suites with the best colour grading tools available in the industry and due to our exclusivity agreement, I have been the single lead colourist to be able to work for brands like Coca Cola, P&G, Ulker, Unilever, Loreal and many more local ones. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with the best advertising agencies around the world like JWT, TBWA, DDB, McCann, Mullen Lowe and BBDO among others. In June 2016, I made my move to London and now I am working as a freelance colourist.
