Take advantage of the Baselight toolset within the foremost professional editing and VFX packages so you can be confident about your grades at every stage of the production process.
We’ve created new licencing options especially for freelancers, so you can easily move a licence to a new system when a job finishes. When you activate Baselight for Avid, you’ll have the chance to choose a duration. The smallest duration is one day and there is no limit to the number of times that the licence can be activated. See the Store FAQs for more information.
One purchase also gives you Baselight Editions on ALL supported platforms* so that you can pass grades through your pipeline with ease—and that includes any that we add in the future.
Baselight Editions are currently available for the following packages with more to be added soon:
- Baselight for NUKE (Windows, Linux & Mac)
- Baselight for Avid Media Composer & Symphony (Windows & Mac)
About Baselight Editions
Baselight Editions provide the same core toolset as full Baselight systems, with the same UI but as a software-only package that can be incorporated into an existing NLE or VFX workstation. This approach delivers high quality grading tools and colour management directly into your workstation, and as the Editions share the same data structures as all Baselight systems, projects can be seamlessly transferred and shared between users and facilities.
Baselight for NUKE
To use Baselight for NUKE, you must be using:
- NUKE 8.0 or NUKE 9.0
- Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion) onwards, or
- Linux CentOS/RHEL 5 or CentOS/RHEL 6, or
- Windows 7 (64-bit)
Baselight for Avid
To use Baselight for Avid on Windows or Mac, you must be using:
- Media Composer 6, or
- Symphony 6
- Windows or Mac OS X
You must use version 6 or greater as Media Composer/Symphony and Baselight for Avid are 64-bit applications.
