Monday 14 November, 11:00-13:00, Seminar Room
You cannot have an image without a look: a motion picture camera is different to the human eye. This means as soon as you take an image, you have altered reality.
This is even more true in motion pictures, where immersion is achieved through abstraction. You need control over the look development process to ensure that your objective, the visual telling of your story, is fulfilled.
The Semantics of Look Development
At the beginning of this session, FilmLight Image Engineer Daniele Siragusano gives an overview of look development in the greater context of the motion picture development pipeline.
Baselight LOOK for Cinematographers
Colour Workflow Specialist Andy Minuth then gives an introduction to FilmLight’s free Baselight LOOK software, explaining how cinematographers can create aesthetic and future-proof looks.
The Look Development workshop is open to all EnergaCAMERIMAGE visitors – no registration necessary.
