FilmLight announces new Global Channel Manager

As part of FilmLight’s ongoing drive to reinforce partner sales for its workflow solutions, Sebastian Rasfeld is stepping up to a new role as Global Channel Manager.

Based in Berlin, Sebastian draws on ten years of experience in the post industry, first as a Baselight colourist and, since 2011, as FilmLight’s Senior Regional Sales Manager for Europe and the Middle East.

In his new position, Sebastian will provide the day-to-day strategic support for FilmLight’s channel worldwide. He will be the main point of contact for the growing network of resellers, responsible both for strengthening existing relationships and implementing reseller recruitment strategy.

Wolfgang Lempp, Co-Founding Director of FilmLight, stated, “With interest growing rapidly from leading production companies, post-production facilities and film/TV studios who recognize the workflow benefits of our portfolio as well as the creative capabilities of what we offer, we need local experts to accompany our expansion and support our clients. Sebastian is a natural choice to work with these partners, and I am confident that his experience in sales combined with his technical knowledge will allow him to build and cultivate a strong, channel-oriented sales model.”

FilmLight currently works with multiple resellers over the world selling unique colour grading systems, image processing applications and workflow tools that are transforming film and video post-production and setting new standards for quality, reliability and performance alongside creativity.

FilmLight is exhibiting at IBC2015 (Amsterdam, 11 – 15 September) on stand 7.F31.
