FilmLight, a leading provider of digital filmmaking technology, announced today that NAB 2006 will be the launch of a new package in the Baselight grading range – Baselight HD. In addition the entire range of Baselight products will eventually benefit from a new computer system including eight dual-core processors, increasing the speed of all its systems multiple times.

Baselight HD will offer colourists a complete package including a Baselight grading system with HD and SD video i/o specifically designed for video grading and a Baselight Blackboard control surface.
